In the Fall of 2017, I hosted a weekly home church meeting out of my home with a close group of friends. We called this Streams of Tucson. We sought to pursue a rhythm of church community that was a bit different than we had previously engaged in. Over the course of a year, we read Scripture together and met weekly to worship, share in communion, pray together, and reflect on the teaching from that week’s reading.
We met together for a year in this manner and I felt God leading me to move into a new chapter as I returned to college to finish my degree. We retain deep friendships with those who were involved and are blessed with a multitude of memories from our time together.
